Move focus with the d-pad, arrow keys, or WASD. The largest tile is the most likely next action.

2.2 TilesFocusable, uniformly spaced, sized by importance. Focus and activation are separate, visible states.
2.3 Diegetic tilesSame importance-weighted logic, anchored to a point in the world instead of the screen grid.
2.4 DismissalA resolved tile — choice, prompt, or notification — fades and slides toward the nearest edge. Always the same exit.
2.5 No persistent HUDNothing ambient sits on screen. Status is consolidated into the pause menu, built from the same tiles.
2.6 Transient notificationsNon-focusable, styled identically to tiles, slide in, dwell, then dismiss the same way as everything else.
2.7 FeedbackEvery focus change and activation is acknowledged — never silent, never color-only.
